Hani and Daniela live their lives under siege. She is a young Israeli soldier on checkpoint duty in Bethlehem, Palestine; and he is a Palestinian university student who must pass through the checkpoint everyday to get to his classes. Both trapped behind the 60-year old wall that separates them and yet they are strangely dependent on each other. Then comes the explosion!
A chance remark catapults them into an entirely new relationship.
Can the new generation of both sides grow up without deep psychological scars?
Perhaps there’s a glimmer of hope amongst the madness of the defining conflict of The Age: Israel-Palestine.
